Terms of Use

Use of this site means acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its linked tools.

This privately owned site is not affiliated with Childress County, a sheriff, jail, TDCJ, or any government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of This Website

This is a private reference that stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, or file a document. It points toward Childress County and Texas custody resources and may connect users with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is conditioned on lawful and respectful use.

  • Do not violate a law through the site.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
  • Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not deploy bots or scrapers.
  • Do not interfere with service for others.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Users agree not to rely on site or partner data for hiring or firing, tenant selection, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, public-benefit eligibility, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links to Outside Sites

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, or third-party search services. Their owners control content, privacy, availability, and terms. A link is not an endorsement.

No Warranties

Everything is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty covers accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors or security flaws, or the scope of a partner's results. Custody information changes often, and nothing here is an official government statement.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its owners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on any content or linked service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and partners harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs caused by that user's conduct, misuse, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Materials

Site text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Childress County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or republished without written permission, except where law clearly permits it.

Updates and Access

These terms may be changed at any time and take effect when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or revoked for any reason without advance notice.

Texas Law Applies

Texas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper authority in Texas.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains effective. The affected part will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it lawful.
